Now I had the bases for my characters, I then began drawing multiple outfit ideas! This is honestly my favourite part of designing characters 🙂
The two scientists were relatively easy as they had to wear scientist uniforms and clothing. I looked back at the many references of lab coats and accessories I saved in my boards to draw these.
For the main character, I needed her to stand out! She’s also a determined young teen full of spark and so bright colours made sense. I also stuck with the hat as I had an initial idea that she’d have evidence of being an experiment somewhere on her head and so she hides it under the hat.
