Similar to my linkedin, I created business cards in my 2nd year! I included my email, Instagram and LinkedIn to direct whomever I talked to, to different ways to contact me.
I am still satisfied with the front design but, I realised after printing them that the text on the back was too tiny!

I made the back design portrait, so it’s less confusing, and changed the info I had on there.
Originally, the QR code directed to my instagram art account but I decided it would be more professional if it directed to my portfolio. I still included my instagram within the text.

Another thing I learned on DPS was the different forms of networking, both primary and secondary sources. For example, my social media would be a secondary thing that a person would look up after meeting me. But a very effective primary introduction is business cards, which an employer could remember you by.
By the end of the year I had handed out my cards to a few people! I’m not sure if anyone checked out my portfolio but I did get some linkedin connections out of it!
